Paschall Theatre

Located in the district of Paschall to the west of Philadelphia. Marcus A. Benn of the Benn Theatre, ABC Theatre and others announced the conversion of an 1890’s building to house the Paschall Theatre in 1914. It was a silent-era venue which in 1923 was equipped with a Wurlitzer K organ and ran for 15 years. M. Epstein acquired the Benn Theatre and the Paschall Theatre deciding to close the Paschall without converting it to sound. The building became a carpet and upholstery business followed by a long-running funeral home. It has since been demolished.
