Empire Theater

Precious little is known about the Empire Theater other than it operated under two different owners in the early part of the 20th century. Sometime prior to 1916 and in 1916. The president of the company and local manager for Empire Theater was George M. Mann and his brother John W. Mann was secretary of the company.

The theater housed 300 people and was one of the early motion-picture theaters. The theater occupied the northern ground floor of the Ferrell Building located at 535 Main Street. (Empire was 533 Main Street)
