Picture at top of this site shows construction trailers while Carson School was being re-configured, front of our Sunset Theater would have been where the trailers are.

Hello Chuck, This site is now part of the Carson School Complex. Sunset was the first Cincy cinema to use black lighting interior-wise,but I don’t know how!

After this cinema venue closed it became a Knights Of Columbus Hall before resurfacing, years later, becoming an Ackerman Chevrolet showroom. Ackermans were owners of several moviehouses in the Price Hill-Covedale area starting with The Glenway, The Sunset Th., and The Covedale Theater.

Still being used by Glenway Chevrolet. For years before that, it was a bingo hall. A very popular one, too.
