At the Regent, “Roxy” moved the orchestra onto the stage (except for the organ) and installed a display fountain for special effects. The movie screen was surrounded by curtains or scenery which had openings for singers to perform from. They can be seen here standing in the two arched windows. “Roxy” also moved the projection booth to the rear of the ground floor to end “keystoning.”
