Located in the Hunting Park district of North Philadelphia. The Wayne Theatre was opened in 1913. It was equipped with a United States organ. In 1923 that organ was replaced by a Moller 2 manual 6 ranks organ. It was closed in 1927 and alterations were carried out to the plans of architect Oliver Randolph Parry. It had reopened by 1930 as the Town Theatre. It was closed in 1952.

The building was converted into a plate glass store.
