The Orpheum was built and opened in the Summer of 1915 by Toney Haas and was opened by Herman Bock who was known for hisa operations of theatres in Cape. The Orpheum and the Park were both modern theatres at that time and went undisturbed for some time until the new Broadway theatre was built and opened in December of 1921.

From the Google maps it looks as if this theatre has been demolished. Nothing but a big empty lot.

This was also the only theatre in town where the “colored” people could go, they had a “special enterance” in the alleyway.

The Fox Orpheum was a single screen theatre.
