The address is correct, you just have to use the previous business name to locate it. “Town & Country Cinema”. And I can assure you that all of my information given above is correct because my grandfather opened the theatre with Kerasotes in 1977 and was either manager or district manager for a consistant 30 years until he passed away.

Town & Country Cinema (not theatre)(UNTIL FEB 15 2009)
Dexter Twin Cinema (NOT plural)
also aside from the movie time line is the office line:

Status: Open
Screens: 2
Style: Twin
Function: Movies (New Release and 2-3 Week Old Films)
Seats: 412
Chain: Kerasotes Theatres (Feb 1977-Feb 2009) – Pollack Cinemas, INC. (March 2009- Present)

NOTE: Kerasotes Theatres built the twin and opened it in 1977 as a future replacement for the drive-in down the road they owned. Kerasotes built the cinema based upon an already opened Mansion Mall Twin in Poplar Bluff, MO. Shortly after the twin was opened, the drive-in shut down. The theatre was originally built to seat 420, but in the 1990’s 4 seats out of each auditorium were removed for handicap accessability.

When Kerasotes shut the theatre down Feb 15 2009, the landlord remodled the theatre and sold it to an independent company out of Paragould, Arkansas. It was re-opened in March of 2009 and remains running today.

This information comes from someone whom has very close relations with this theatre and even has a copy of the original blueprints (somewhere).
