A single-screen cinema opened 1967, and was divided in half 1973. This closed in the 1980s when GCC built a plex in the parking lot.

The cinema remained connected to the mall. It operated until October 5, 2000, when GCC closed it for good. Shortly thereafter another “company” re-opened the theater for a few months, but was shut down again when they neglected to pay rent – ever. The cinema, along with the vacant Montgomery Ward’s store, was demolished in 2004 to make way for a new shadow anchor (i.e. within spitting distance yet unconnected) Wal-Mart Super Center that opened in 2005.
