Crest Theatre

i remember it was in the early 70s i found this old theater the
crest.i was 17 and there was a hole in the wall so i squeezed though
to get a view from the inside.wow so much art deco!back then they
used big steps or stadium type seating that passed 4 a balcony.i sat
there 4 awhile imagining myself watching a bogart film with people
all around me-some were on dates eating popcorn etc.the frame around
the screen was so dirty but there were remnents of an art deco design
too.must have been a grand place 4 a neiborhood theater.

This was the first movie theater I ever went to. 1950ish. I remember spending Saturdays there with my friends.
