This theater was bought out in 2011 and is now called “The Prairie Cinema.” Outdoor signage still says Star Cinema. Now the whole Star Cinema chain has been sold out.

I loved going to this cinema as a kid. This is my hometown cinema. Prairie du Chien once had a two screen (as I recall) in the commerce court mall I will have to keep an update on names and info on this theater as I am still asking people about it. Back on the subject though of the Prairie Cinema (it will always be Star Cinema to me) this is a beloved cinema. I will try to update more facts regarding this as well. I hope everyone enjoys the pictures.

The correct address is 1205 E Prairie St. I have corrected the Google Street View.
