Opened as the Valley Cinema in 1971 seating 206. It was closed for a short time and in 2002 it was reopened as The Theatre. Plays first run features on Friday, Saturday and Sundays.

The Theatre should have the number of screens changed to two.
This theatre has had a second screen added and is now the Theatre I & II.
Header needs to be changed to Theatre 1 & 2 AKA The Theatre, Valley Cinema. Screens should be Twin. Tel# 701.845.2816
I’m pretty familiar with this theater and it has been a twin and operating under the name “The Theatre I & II” for a long time before 2002. I couldn’t say exactly, but I would say it has been a twin since at least the early-1990s.
Bad news for this theater. Thursday will be it’s last day. According to the Bismarck Tribune on Tuesday January 31, current owner Wayne Loberg will shut it down on Thursday since he plans to retire. The theater has been up for sale since Mid-October.
