On my day trip to Lockport NY to see the Palace I drove by this drive-in and saw the 4 screens! I also noticed at the entrance the famous sad and happy theatrical faces. Worth seeing!

This theater actually has 4 screens (my mistake for entering 2) and it is the largest Drive-In theater in NY. It is owned and operated by the Cohen family for over 50 years. For several years back in the 70’s the Transit had operated year-round, by issuing portable heaters to their patrons. Today, it has four screens lit with double-features, and a 19-hole miniature golf course for early arrivals.
