Strand, Tampa FL in 1916 - Recently opened at a cost of $90,000 by the Strand Amusement Company, it seated 850, with a 12x16 feet screen and a throw of 85 feet. Admission was uniformly 10c with continous shows with an orchestra accompaniment.
