The Stirchley Empire Theatre was opened in 1912, and was a very small cinema on one level. It was on a flat floor with a slightly raised platform in the back, which held a few more seats. It was taken over by the Associated British Cinemas(ABC) chain in 1932.
The Empire Theatre was closed in 1943, and is now an auto repair garage.
