The Breeze Theatre did open in 1911 but architect Charles F. Schaef (1887-1972) only appears as the architect for a makeover in 1922. There seems to be no information on the original 1911 architect.

Oh yeh, it’s still demolished!

A South Philly Review story calls this the Point Breeze Theatre, and says that it was known as “the big theater with the little entrance.”

Charles F. Schaef 1887 – 1972. Studied architecture in Paris. Worked with John T. Brugger and Robert M. Little. Architect for St. Aloysius parish at 26th and Reed streets, dedicated in 1924.
