In 1991 a few rows of seats were removed so that a stage could be built in front of the screen. The first live performance in the Ideal Theatre was “Reserve Two For Murder” which was presented by the Wasatch Playhouse.. The city condemned seven businesses including the Ideal Theatre in 1998. After being demolished on June 15, 2000, a nine million dollard 70,000 square foot City Hall and Justince Center was built on the site.
The Ideal Theatre opened as the Admiral Theatre. Should have an AKA in the header.
