The Movie theatre was built by the Tower Theatre Corp. largely due to the success of art and independent films in Salt Lake City. The tine thetare seating only 180 was located in the Olympus Hills Shopping Center. It was exclusive for art and independent films along with its sister theatre the Tower. It was closed in 1980 and the Olympus Starship twin theatre was built on the site.
