The Lowes In Parsippany was a 35mm only house with NO magnetic heads/or digital equipment. I worked there part-time and it was a great booth to work in and I never heard about any problems with equipment (besides the bulb burning out). The projectionist kept the booth in great shape and was a professional.
The theater was located on an end wing of a shopping center that had a K-Mart & Pathmark. Both are gone but the center is still there. Blockbuster was closed. The shopping center is located on Route 10 in Randolph,NJ.
I uploaded the picture from a collection of old pictures and the marquee reads the Rough Riders. The Rough Riders was a series of 8 film released from 1941-1942. Picture was taken sometime then. No remarks were made on the photograph when it was taken.
