One pretty decent Double Feature in the early seventies,“BONNIE AND CLYDE” and “BULLITT”.One stupid Double feature.“EASY RIDER” and the R-rated soap opera,“THE LOVE MACHINE”.Can’t make this up.
I was really surprised these theatres weren’t all ready on CT.Salt Lake City is a pretty good size city.I left a lot of theatres off thinking the names might have changed.

Playing July 1950 “MY FOOLISH HEART”,“SPY HUNT” and “DUCHESS OF IDAHO”.
It was called the BRYAN BIJOU in 1995 with Three screens,Wonderful theatre ruined I am sure.

Played “BILLY JACK” over two weeks,which is hard to believe with such a horrible film.“THE GODFATHER” had a two week run with ONE showing Daily.
Loved the BEATLES history and of Course,007 ad.
I would be willing to bet quite a few Roy Rogers' Films played there.
At least no one could Steal one-sheets.don’t think I have ever seen them THAT high.

Bob,If you go back and look at old Newspaper ads you see alot of afternoon Monster Movies being played in towns across the country.
I was doing the same thing in Augusta about that time with GCC driving some guys from Boston around town looking at new locations.I know how you feel.
No Drive-ins listed at all in the 1956 Motion picture Almanac.thought they would have had a few screens.

That address is a far cry from what I had,they really made one look for a Drive-in in those days.

By the sixties it was showing Grade C films.“REFORM SCHOOL GIRLS” and “DRAGSTRIP GIRL” were playing together on Oct.2 1959.
Henry Fonda had a nice run with “THE MAN WHO UNDERSTOOD WOMEN” here at the UPTOWN in October of 1959.
