There was an ISSAQUAH THEATRE there in the early sevnties a single screen. It always played Double Features like these two “CATLOW” and MURPHY’S WAR" playing Jan 7,8, and 9 1972.
Jan.8 1951 “SEVEN SINNERS” and “SUTTER’S GOLD”.Ads mention “in car speakers”.In those days I thought that all there was?Seems really dumb even to put that in an ad.
It really wasn’t a bad theatre.I am just old school and hate things over 3 or 4 screens, but that is a “Me” problem. Thanks for the pictures. It is still sitting there like Regency,Except GCC left EVERYTHING in the 8-Plex.
Getting back to Drive-ins I swear I saw an old Drive-in Theatre in an old episode of 5-0.Never had anyone to say they spotted it too.It is like They drove by it in the show chasing a crook..
Drive-in Theatre owners should keep the Drive-in up.Most of the ones I have visited have been pretty dang clean.I think sometimes the Bulb could be replaced.
I happen to be off on Monday,Tisloews.just my day off.I heard on Monday night Football. I thought we should at least book a couple of BEATLES movies on Late Shows,But no my City Manager a Big ELVIS fan nixed that.I think he said they were out of release, but i said “To hell with it” no one really cared anymore. Most of Theatre Buddies had moved which i would doing soon.In fact it pissed me so much that might have been one of the reason’s Mr.Tinney fired me.Along with missing an Employees meeting!Same one I had heard since 1974.Imperial showed very few DISNEY movies once NATIONAL HILLS and DANIEL VILLAGE opened.
Jan 6 1970 has “7th Voyage of Sinbad"and "GOLDEN VOYAGE OF SINBAD”.For years this theatre played Double features everyday.

It is a good code. But Parents should know what the kids are watching. I wrote a lot more but decided to delete my feelings on the Motion Picture Code.
Thanks again.For adding the info.
