Here is part of a December 1998 article in the Philadelphia Inquirer:
In Willingboro, the Fox is the First to Go
Motorists slowed near Levitt Parkway yesterday to watch the gaping jaw of a demolition crane raze the old Fox Theater – the first building to go down at the abandoned Willingboro Plaza. The eye-catching action was part of the long-anticipated demolition of the plaza.
“Finally,” Solicitor William J. Kearns said, summing up the feelings of township officials. “It’s good for the town, but it’s sad at the same time, if you know what I mean”.
Larry Fine used to do local TV commercials for Three Stooges memorabilia in the South Jersey/Philadelphia area, in the very early seventies as I recall. He had had a stroke by that time, so his speech was difficult to understand. I think he died a few years later.
This is a 1961 photo. The marquee of the adjacent Carman Theater is on the right. The building is still being used as a skating rink. http://tinyurl.com/r59wwn
The Temple University site has some photos of damage to the theater after Hurricane Hazel, around 1954. If you look at the Theater of the Living Arts page, I posted the Standard photos a couple of years ago.
This is a 1940 LOC photo of an abandoned theater in Silverton. I don’t believe this is the Lode, at least not the way it looks today. http://tinyurl.com/q6cxrp

This is the theater building in 1960. Unfortunately the bus is blocking the view of the marquee.

Looking at the view on Google, the building is still standing. It’s being used for a variety of retail businesses.
