The stone covering not quite as attractive as the original. Most remodels are never as nice. Whole place should be restored into a theatre again. Good location and future for it all.
Beautiful proscenium and all else. Nicer than the Egyptian in Los Angeles. That has been ruined and only the ceiling is original and elaborate. Coos Bay is lucky to have this gem.
Beautiful interior design here. Light is deco but the rest looks Italien or French to me. Window murals are great. Nice to see it is returning for all to enjoy. Too many ugly mega-plex boxes out there.
Was once a handsome building. Why do some groups have such bad taste. To ruin the interior of an historic place. Still nice on the exterior. Restore it all. The D and R has been fixed up I hear.
Still quite a lot of good detail left and proscenium too. Check the very vintage Coliseum Theatre in Seattle. Same type of retail action there. Could also be returned to it’s former glory. In an upper scale location downtown.
