After its closure, the Moulin Rouge stood vacant and neglected for years to the point where it was practically a skeleton. A few years ago what little remained of it was dismantled and replaced by an apartment complex (which, perhaps in keeping with the Old Oakland complex across the street, is surprisingly ornate [at least on the exteroir])
Sadly, the Lincoln Theater is no more. Vacant and abandoned for years, it fell victim to a roof collaspe earlier this year, apparently due to years of neglect, and was subsequently torn down.
The former Lorin is today (and has been for a number of years) known as Phillips Temple Church. It is still an impressive sight (at least in terms of its facade).
The Hopkins was converted into a supermarket and served in that capacity for a number of years under various names (U.S. Market; PX Market; Flair Market; Century Foods, etc.). Closed after that for a time, it is now home to a Hollwood Video store.
