I attended a showing of LAST PICTURE SHOW in 35mm. Nostalgic and sad event.
The lost profession, sadly!
As a kid in the 1950s, I went here with my parents. I remember The Living Desert and The Seven Little Foys.
Earlier Liberty Theatre.
As restructuring begins.
Special streetcar/trolley will be waiting after second show for transportation to nearby Connecticut over the river.
Used to see movies here in the 1957-1959 years. Loved the place even though it was weather beaten by then. A tragedy that it was demolished to create, in part, Cathedral Square.
I went to this theatre often when I was at Lackland Air Force Base in 1966. Gorgeous interior.
After 1955.
