I saw many movies at the Granada in the ‘50’s and '60’s.
The theater had a balcony section.
Some of the films I saw there : “Artists & Models”, “20,000 Leauges Under The Sea”, “Psycho”,“Breakfast At Tiffany’s”, “Dr. No”, “Anatomy of A Murder”,
“Li'l Abner”, countless others
There was also a third theater which, I believe, was called the Park,
located on the east side of Euclid just south of the California (same
block). The marque is visible in one of the Frasher cards. See the link
posted above by ken mc, search “Ontario” in the “Frasher collection”
Here are some photos I took yesterday:

There was also a California Theater in Ontario, not listed here.
Southwest Builder and Contractor of October 2nd, 1925 announced the plans for the Granada Theater at Ontario, designed by L.A. Smith. The owner of the new theater and office building was Dr. C.L. Emmons, and the theater was to be be leased to West Coast Junior Theaters. The estimated cost was $200,000.
The Granada Theatre is in use by a church group. The seats in the upper part of the balcony are original from the 1920’s. The seats are numbered and the seat lighting is also original. The lower part of the balcony was remodeled in the 1950’s. The seats on the bottom floor have been completely torn out. The area behind the stage has been remodeled. Each dressing room has a sink. The media room is still completely original. Is there any other history behind this theater on the internet or otherwise?
