The Memory Lane Drive is now PERMANENTLY CLOSED. The owner has given numerous reasons why the driver in will not open for 2024 and instead be closed permanently. One was attendance, that is funny because you would have thought after buying land on a former another drive-in that sat empty for 32 years before he bought it that sits next to a closed 3 screen cinema might be a sign of, uh this might be a bad idea. Instead he opened Memory Lane, awful name in 2021. He added a second screen in 2023, although he said the drve-in had low attendance. And now closed a year later. The things people will do for tax a write off.

The Boulos Company list this as 29,000 SQFT.with a lease rate of $12.00 per sq ft, triple net. So $9,000 a month is the rent. Triple net is, you take it as is. It is listed as retail and also says it is for sale at $4.350 million.

ForgttenDayton commented about NCG Citrus Park Cinemas on Oct 12, 2024 at 11:10 am

The information on this theatre is old and wrong.

  1. When NCG reopened the theatre only 10 theaters were opened. The other 10 were converted to other. The screen count is 10, not 20.

  2. NCG Citrus Park Stadium 20 is not the name of this theatre. Again it won’t have the name 20 in it, it has only 10 screens. And actually the theatre is NCG Cirrus Park Cinemas. So NCG Citrus Park Stadium 20 needs changed to NCG Citrus Park Cinemas.

Nouveau was a scam, singed the lease but never did open. They “raised money” to open the theatre, but it was scam. After a tear and arrest of Nouveau members the landlord was so fed up. So fed up with Nouveau did that the landlord demolished the PAGE MANOR TWIN CINEMAS. Thank goodness Nouveau never opened PAGE CINEMA ARTS THEATRE would have been the worst name for a movie theatre ever.

DallasMoviesTheeatres, you are so off on your comments about the Washington Square Cinema that fact checking is strongly encouraged to keep this site a place of memories and facts, not fantasy. The Washington Square Cinema opened in 1975, not 1964. Where did you come up with that anyway? In 1975, not 1964 Robeet Mills opened both Washroom Square Cinema and Cinema Centre 1 & 2. Chakeres Southtown 1&2 also opened in 1975. And again you are off on the closing date as well, the Washington Square closed in October 1988 with Wings Of Desire. Chakeres lease ran until May 1989 but closed it in October 1988 as nearby Showcase Cross Point 12 was opening in November. This was following National Amusements acquiring the vast majority of Chakeres locations in April 1988.
