Renovated for its first post-shutdown reopening on August 21, 2020. I saw Tenet and Akira in the IMAX auditorium within about a week of each other. Unfortunately, we moviegoers aren’t doing enough to keep theatres open, as the theatre could close again due to the new James Bond being delayed to next April.
Just got back from Abominable. The movie was great, though Auditorium 4’s circular polarization filter clearly needs some work. Probably worn out or something.
One of three theatres frequented by George Lucas in his youth. I wonder what he saw there…
If George Lucas happens by this site, I have a question: can he remember every film he saw at the State?
I wonder what Disney movies George Lucas saw here when he was young.
Can anyone remember which of the three auditoria American Graffiti debuted in?
The screen was supplied by Raven Screen Company of New York. That said, how big was it?
How big is the Titus 1’s screen, in feet?
At any rate, if anyone has any grand opening ads, could they post them here?
That having been said, is Auditorium 1’s aspect ratio 1.90 or 2.35?
Just now saw it. What was the 2010 screen like, to be better than the 2014 screen?
The ETX theatre was the first for AMC, and was installed in Auditorium 1. It is now a Dolby Cinema theatre, as mentioned earlier.
Can anyone remember the aspect ratio of the RPX screen? Is it 1.90 or 2.35? Or is it somewhere in between?
Could someone repost the ads from the comments? Because it appears the links are broken.
Apparently, though I can’t be too certain, it started out with five and later expanded to 12.
Which auditorium is the ScreenX theatre?
Oh, can anyone still remember what the opening day features were?
It’s still open, as the independently-run Titusville Mall Cinema.

@greenth1ng If you still have the newspaper article announcing Regal’s purchase, could you photograph and upload it? Thanks!

Can anyone remember the seating capacities in each auditorium?
Can anyone remember the seating capacities of each auditorium?
What’s the current seating capacity?
Can anyone remember what the seating capacities were for each auditorium?
I don’t think UA became part of Regal until 2002. If I were to hazard a guess, I’d say UA sold this and the Capri theatres to Regal around 1991.
I’m guessing the Artech Design Group had a hand in this, considering a similar-looking Wynnsong had opened in Mobile, Alabama the year before.
