the Braintree 10 is identical to Burlington 10 except for screens 2 and 9, which are considerably bigger in Braintree than Burlington. Wonder if AMC has changed any of the layout and design since taking over GCC?
Currently the Academy makes a small poster of what film is playing to hang in the space where the marquee used to be. It’s unfortunate that it’s no longer there, as the small lawn sign can sometimes be difficult to see from the road.
I remember visiting the old Charles site in March 1996 just as it was being transformed into a conference center. They had many of the old auditorium chairs sitting out in the hallway outside the lobby, so I took one home. Was able to get a brief look at the large cinema which had been all torn out. The upstairs part of the cinema seemed to stay the same right from when it closed in 10/94 to winter 1996 (while the downstairs was quickly remodeled), and they didn’t change the marquee til at least later in 96 or 97.

The Cinemark is still a 12plex and has not added four screens as of mid-2005.
