This is the longest-running theater in Naperville since the Naper Theater in downtown Naperville, which closed shortly after this theater opened in 1976. Hope this theater can relocate elsewhere in Naperville, or somehow be incorporated into Costco’s plans for the site. It’s a low-priced, friendly, comfortable theater that’s nearby and a nice alternative to paying sky-high prices at larger and more modern area theaters.
It was renamed in 2018, but seems like it’s the name of the main auditorium, but the new name is also on the marquee as well now, in smaller lettering.
The description needs to be changed. It’s not run by Earlann any longer, it’s part of the the VIP Cinemas chain since 2018. The theater opened in what was formerly an Eagle Foods Store.
Is the Brauer House housed in the former Northgate Theaters or is it King’s Hall Banquets? The description mentions Brauer House, but the picture is of Kings Hall, both located in the former Northgate Plaza (now called Lombard Landings). The satellite view doesn’t seems like the space where Brauer House is in was large enough to have been a six screen theater, but the banquet hall building does.
Portions of the salvaged Crocker facade have been rediscovered recently: https://www.chicagotribune.com/suburbs/elgin-courier-news/ct-ecn-crocker-theater-work-day-elgin-st-1101-20191102-5skcakzo5rg6rnh2em2qcfqzba-story.html
The former stagehouse of the Echo is being demolished and replaced by a mixed residential/retail development, leaving the former lobby of the Echo the only portion of the theater remaining after the auditorium was torn down in the early 60s.
The opening of the theater has been pushed back to October or later:

The Liberty closed the last week of January. A pending request to demolish the building has been delayed:

Added new picture in picture section showing ghost sign on the rear wall of the theater building from the alley.
Also, the theater has six screens not three.

How is the function auto repair shop if the site of the theater is a vacant lot?
