I’ve uploaded some more pictures of the IMAX auditorium, but haven’t yet been able to take any of the IMPACT Screen, has anybody managed to take any pictures of that screen?
I have uploaded some photographs of the refurbished auditorium of the Scala. The cinema was refurbished in time of the cinema’s 100th anniversary in September 2013. And is believed to be 2nd oldest cinema in the UK. New seats, carpets, screen, digital projection, speakers and catering/box offices stands have been installed.
Jeffrey Morris this was not the last surviving cinema designed by David Evelyn Nye. The Rex in Berkhamsted and the Odeon in Esher designed by Nye are open and showing movies
It wouldn’t take too much work, proscenium still in place, as is circle all though a metal mezzanine floor has been put in, I’m unsure about the projection box, but the stalls floor has been leveled.
In what way?
