Ron P the only first run theatres play A pictures Downtown were the IMPERIAL and The Miller.The Rialto was closed in the 50’s,The Modjeska would sometimes run a A picture ,but most of the time they played B pictures.I wanna say it played at the IMPERIAL because they got alot of MGM product.
Yep, you never know CTCrouch, when GCC poulled out of Augusta,Ga. They left a nice looking 8 plex,but that side of town would be nothing but problems for a theatre owner.

Miller sat close to 1500, while the IMPERIAL sat 881 in my days there.

Nice looking 4 plex, noticed where the one sheets were at,If it weren’t for churches most of these old theatres would be gone.
neat story, I stood outside in the parking lot and watched movies while my mom shopped at Forest Hills Drive-in, guess a bunch of kids did this.
