Here is a story in the Ogden Standard-Examiner dated 12/18/45:
INGLEWOOD, Calif., Dec. 18(AP)â€"A disastrous dawn fire, which burned out the Granada theatre, one of the city’s largest, a half-dozen shops and numerous offices, was controlled today after a three-hour fight by most of the city’s fire apparatus. Damage might reach several hundred thousand dollars. Cause of the blaze, which started in a malt shop, was not immediately determined. Firemen saved an adjacent Sears Roebuck & Co. retail store after a stiff battle, but said there probably would be some water damage.
This press release from March 2008 confirms that the Seavue was razed to make way for a Walgreens. You can still see the theater on Google maps, until they update the photos. Status should be closed/demoished. http://tinyurl.com/6mojxs
Here is an exceprt from an April 9, 1980 article in The Capital:
Stores To Replace Old Ritchie Drive-In
E.M. Loew’s Governor Ritchie Open-Air Theatre, one of the oldest drive-ins in the country,
is scheduled to close this year to make way for a shopping center. The news may be favorably received by residents of the nearby Glenmore community, who have for year lived-with the lights and late-night noise. But according to other north county residents, Ritchie Highway needs another shopping center like Marley Creek needs another sewage spill.
Plans call for a 208,655-square-foot shopping center with an 84,000-square-foot department
store and 40,260-square-foot food or mercantile store to act as financial anchors. More than 900 parking spaces would be provided. The drive-in, built in 1938, will be closed “for
economic reasons,” according to William G. Steele, who has managed it for 12 years. “The
land is far too valuable for a drive-in.”
Here is an excerpt from an 11/14/65 article in the Cedar Rapids Gazette:
The Iowa theater in Cedar Rapids will change ownership Dec. 1. It will also close that date for extensive remodeling and modernization and remain closed until Christmas day. The theater was acquired by Dubinsky Brothers Theaters from RKO Theaters several months ago, with Dec. 1 as the takeover date. The name of the theater will continue the Iowa, the RKO identification merely being dropped from it. Reopening feature at the Iowa: The new James Bond movie “Thunderball”, starring Sean Connery.

If it is hosting live performances, the status should be changed to open.
The Kilduff’s site listed the Arcade on Main Street, but I think there was only one in Crisfield.

The current occupant is a pawn shop called the Essex Jewelry Exchange.
It looks like a plain brown box now. I would liked to have seen it about fifty years ago.

Any idea when this theater opened? There was a one screen Marysville Theater in 1963, operated by North Coast Theaters.
The current occupant is a record store called Ernie November. The street is actually one word, Lincolnway.
If it’s not showing films now the status would be closed, I think.

Apparently it wasn’t.
