Of course, the Rosslyn and that big hotel on Main below Seventh (can’t recall the name) are now gentrified, or trying to be, so maybe that’s in the cards for this place. The building looks sound enough.

I’m looking at the list for Atlantic City, and only the Bijou, Capital and Shore are shown as closed and still standing. We know the Bijou has been gone for decades. I have my doubts if the other two are still extant, but I won’t be back in AC for a while to confirm.

I’m no film historian, but I think 1947 was one of the last years where television had not put a dent in movie attendance. Probably through 1950 or so, then the decline began.

This recap of Biloxi post-Katrina mentions that the theater never re-opened. The current status of the damaged building is not commented on anywhere that I could find.
