WGAC Radio Personality George Fisher was the Host of the Tuesday Moring Ladies Shopper Movies at National Hills.During the Seventies and into the Eigthties.Everyone enjoyed working with Mr.Fisher he treated everyone the same from the Doormen to the business owners in the Shopping Center that put the movies on,and they were pretty recent films shown.Sept 26 1980 George Fisher was hosting one the last ones ever at National Hills, seems like by then a lot of ladies were holding a job down and not out shopping on Tuesday Morning.
Mr.Pete would always look forward to see Western actor Dub Taylor on the Johhny Carson show.He would tape record it on his cassette recorder and always wanted me to hear Dub playing a instrument like his harmonica.Man, I miss that part of the business! Nick, thanks alot.I am going to find the Diane 29 Drive -in pictures of you and me exploring and the Kings Mtn. Drive-in.Maybe the BELMONT too. Thanks friend.
