I was reminded the other day that Barbara Brown was also one of the first Concession stand girls to work at Columbia 1 and 2.Sorry, i left you off the list,but you were always so quite and did good work,i forgot, her brother,Dennis reminded me.

Doggone good little horror flick,“MAGIC” opens 11-08-78 rated R in Columbia 2. Columbia 1 has “CAPRICORN ONE” playing May 31 1978 to kick off our summer movies. Rated PG.

Second Run “MOONRAKER” plays At COLUMBIA 2 right after I was fired keeping my record of never having played a 007 movie in 7 years in the business.

The flyers Diane and you are thinking about are a good way to gauge the response.But I think when you get down to it we will have to pick a weekend that hopefully folks don’t have a big vacation planned.
I just want to get on before Robin and explain to the gang I am sorry i missed the COLUMBIA 1 and 2 reunion party,but that late show call for that show really messed me up. I had planned to drive over for a few hours and return,but I had to stay. i knew when the call was at 2pm it might screw up my COLUMBIA 1and2 reunion. Robin, I will help you next time with a get together from my old gang. I think between the two of us we can have a pretty good turn out.
I suggest we move our theatre talk to one of TLSLOEWS Nashville theatres,my hand is getting tired scrolling down these posts.
Tlsloews. I was lucky at every theatre i worked there was usually a employee,usually a girl,that was snapping pictures at work. That is how i got 90% of mine. I can see you must not have had such luck. You outta see what Robin has. I bet 50 or 60 snapshots of theatres she worked.WHY DIDN’T WE THINK OF THAT!
They are not very good photos but they do show the marquee,I got the out of the local newspaper.One is the old marquee and the other is a newer marquee about two years before the fire.Thanks Robin.

See TLSLOEWS,our Plitt Theatre people are such nice folks.between you and me: Robin is going to wish i never told about this site,But i figured she would be like the rest of my theatre folks and never get on. I am still surprizes we can have a reunion like last fall at a mexican restrauant and all these guys show up and talk theatre for three hours,but yet NONE of them will get on CT.Personal ? i just don’t know.

I’m on Spring Break! BTW….I have a homework assignment for you! If you’re still going to try and come over Saturday, take a few minutes and write down ANY and ALL names you can think of. Addresses too if you have them. I’ve got a couple of ideas on how to get started, but I need yall’s help!!!
