I lived in Alamogordo from July 1971 to May 1973. In October 1972 I saw “Fritz the Cat” at the Yucca. The September 13, 1974 Alamogordo Daily News has an ad for “Caged Virgins” at the Yucca. I found no Yucca ads after October 1975.
According to the Elko Daily Free Press, 24 Sep 1993, “…motion pictures were first shown in Carlin around 1915 when the old Eagle Hall was converted into a theater, "the seats are on movable boards and many of the town dances are held there.”
“The theater was destroyed by fire on Halloween in 1975, The Elko Daily Free Press reported.”
