You are correct, Bay Shore is incorrect on this listing and the Bay Shore Drive In Theater, both are listed as Bayshore.

This theater was also known as the Ward & Glynne Alhambra Theater. It was one of their Vaudeville houses.
See the Patchogue Theater for the Performing Arts and the Bay Shore (incorrectly listed as Bayshore here) for more information on Ward & Glynne.

That is the second marquee they have had on that theater since 1998. Originally, it was your standard type of marquee where you puit letters on it manually. A year ago they added the digital one to it.
Does the Gateway Playhouse of Bellport still run this theater?

Is the the old indoor theater of the drivein, now part of the multiplex, the same size as it always was, or did they cut it in two? How many seats is that particular theater?

Is that a Halloween thing they are doing there, or is that thing on the marquee a permanent thing?

Isn’t this because the Ridgewood Folly was on the Grandview property and operating until 1918? I don’t think the Grandview building that survives today was built until the 20’s.

While on this subject, what about Roseland Ballroom. That also looks like it was a theater at one time. It’s on I think Broadway and 52nd St. Was that a movie theater or a legit theater, and what was it’s name?

If you look at I think Grandview Theater section, someone mentioned that the Evergreen was plagued by scoundrel employees that skimmed profits from the theater.

Is this theater still open? In the description it says that it is 6 screens, but it sounds like it was only cut in half down the middle?
Does the balcony still sit empty?

While I am to young to have been inside this theatre, it must have been some place in it’s day. The building on the exterior towers over everything around it. What a place.

It is more likely that the C-Town store, even if it was two seperate stores at one time, was built as one structure.
