Surprised to see there was actually a reserved seat policy for this film here. “Ways of Love” was a distributor created trilogy which included the controversial “The Miracle” by Roberto Rossellini.
Saw this here with a substantial and appreciative Newport audience on Saturday, April 2. From the JPT webpage the following day as I searched for something to represent an actual theatrical run.
A notice and blurb in the Cincinnati Enquirer incorrectly stated that this was a film by Roberto Rossellini. It was, of course, directed by Vittorio De Sica.

Didn’t realize this place had shown art house fare (“The Baker’s Wife”) seventeen years before it became the Art Cinema in 1958.
