I saw a movie there two weeks ago. They not only have the self-service ticketing machines in the front but they also now have them at the box office. They had two people at the box office to help patrons. Soon we won’t have any one selling tickets.
I wonder what it looked like when it showed porn. I’m sorry I didn’t check out the theatres in Times Square but I was scared. I began working in the area in 1988 so I had time to check out movies at the now gone theatres.
I wish I had a camera with me when I visited the Polk sometime in the late 1990’s. This area was in shambles. The restrooms were in deplorable conditions. It looked like they had been vandalized.
I’ve been to this theatre many times. I enjoy going during the early part of the day when it isn’t crowded and cheaper. I also like venturing out to Cobble Hill. I don’t like the design of this building. It’s too minimalist for my tastes.
I am going to try and visit the church that calls this building home. I want to take pictures of the interior to post them here. I guess I should first ask permission from the pastor.
Shame there are no pictures of the interior during its heyday.
Was the auditorium gutted?
Are the photos of the interior prior to demolition still available on Flickr?
Wow, elevators to the box seats.
Imagine this place showing porn? I would love to see pictures from its days showing porn, the interior.
Any remnants of it’s former life as a movie house?

Did anyone go to this theatre when it was showing porn? I would like to know what the condition of this place like during it’s porn days

I heard there is a sign that this coming Monday will be the final day of The Little, it’s closing.

I wonder where the ticket booth was located.

Where did this great photo come from? Year? Hopefully someone will find a picture of the interior.
The current owner are putting it up for auction.

Looks like a room in a doll’s house
It’s a shame such a substantial building was demolished. Too bad it couldn’t hang on for the re-birth of the neighborhood.

They tore down this beauty and put up a monstrosity.
This is one of the theatres that I hope to see an interior picture of. The others are the Broadway, Gates, Marcy, and Aster.
I took the same picture today but not as good as this one.
UPDATE!!
A court has halted the demolition of the theatre.

Didn’t it go to porn for a little bit?
Did this place start out as a legitimate movie theatre?
Anyone know what the status of the interior currently is?
