No – not as far as I am aware. I think they have “imaginatively” named the apartments Lumiere. The last I heard was that the cinema part, although due to be restored, did not have a tenant, but a church group was thought to be a likely prospect.

It is continuing through 2008 and 2009 and appears to be doing fairly well. There is a planning application at present for a new development which will include a 5 screen multiplex on the North Street Car Park site. If that goes ahead the future of the Futurist will be in grave doubt.
There is currently (2008) a proposal to demolish the auditorium and incorporate the facade and various other bits into a new build hotel. In truth there is virtually nothing worth saving in the much altered interior. Photos (interior and exterior) taken in August 2008 here:–
No the “new” Leicester Square Theatre is the former Venue under the church (Notre Dame) just off the square in Leicester Place (next to Prince Charles Cinema. It is to be run by the same people who have the Arts Theatre.
