I know i should add more when i submit drive-ins,but often they under gone a name change.Getting use to the New CT? Nick and I both wished it would have stayed the way it was,but it is okay, just gotta get use to change.Found an old Concessionstand Girl that worked at National Hills on Facebook, she read every post on National Hills Theatre.Fell in love with Ct.
i saw quite a few there.I remember when it opened it was going to spell Doom for National Hills being in Walking Distance, but we held our own with a great screen and movies. Our Late Shows in the Early to mid 70’s were fantastic ,Masters 4 only ran a handful, a very few late shows. If you a few bucks to blow, get on Augusta Archieves and see all the old Newspaper ads you can spend hours looking at some great stuff like “JAWS” ad which is on the Imperial Theatre site.
Ithink summer of 78.remembered as mentioned in older posts going there and walking over the old site before it was leveled.Found one old One sheet,“Catlow” and that was it.
A dumb ass District Magr ordered it trashed,Got this from the Projectionist. The extra screens I guess were added in the late 80’s early Ninties,I can find that out just give me time. You got in on the tail end of"going to movies as being an event"
I guess it to was torn down for a parking Lot.

Thanks Ken would never guess that had been a theatre.

Strange shutting a screen down, but i have the impression Carmike does not put a lot money in a location.
Two of the houses were not bad for a quad, the two on the side really weren’t bad when you compared them the two small cinemas at thr Regal 12 here.
