Fantastic job on restoration! Auditorium looks to be very similar to that of the Midwest Theater Auditorium of Oklahoma City. Design must have been by same architect, John Eberson…If you get the chance, check out the Auditorium Photo’s of the Midwest…It was demolished in 70’s….Best of Luck on your Restoration!

Saw Hitchcock’s “The Birds” at a private screening at the Lakeside in 1963 for theater operator’s. Film Row’s Screening room’s were not large enough to accomodate the growing number of prospective bidder’s and screenings were utilized in and out of hours of various theater’s from time to time. The Birds became a huge hit in 1963 with record earnings.

Attended showing of “Tell them Willie Boy was Here” shortly after opening of theatre…think it was late in 1969..It was an impressive movie house.
