Hahaha…I’m not scared! I wanted to tell you something but you don’t have an email account. I’m just guessing here, but…you don’t text either do you??? LOL
I wish I knew for sure, but I think it held more than that. I remember having several catered sneak previews up there and those type of things usually had more than 100 people.
I didn’t realize until I got on here that at one time the Penthouse was actually treated as a separate theatre. When we were there all tickets were sold downstairs. If your movie was showing in the Penthouse you had to walk upstairs. Most of the time the concession stand up there was open, but if there was an emergengy we could close it. You know we told you about an office we talked Mr. A into letting us use. We never knew what that office had been used for. It was far away from the other manager’s offices. I guess it must have been the Penthouse manager’s office at one time.
I was lucky
1. I could just yell for my husband —-ahhh,come help me, I broke it!!!
2. I was on unemployment, not officially on the payroll, don’t blame me, I don’t even work here!!!
Well…I’m new on here and was only doing what I thought I was supposed to be doing. Didn’t mean to offend anybody….I will try to stay on task from now on :)
I would love to feed yall…and I would like a piece of that screen! I just see how much better the scans of the real pictures look. I don’t want any of our theatres to look bad on here!
Bill only sent pictures from the reunion. I wish he would send some. When the weather warms up I’ll have a cookout for yall. You eat and I’ll scan pages from your book. Not the whole book — put sticky notes on the best pages! Bill can bring his too.
I don’t think that happened either…I never heard about it. You know for a while there people spread all kinds of stories about Regency Mall.
I used that site because it just seemed like a site full of theatre pictures…just what I needed! It doesn’t cost anything to put on pictures.
Ok…I did get to meet Chuck Norris at Phipps. He came in with a small group of people to see the first movie of the day…he wanted nachos and they were not ready. They sent this poor girl with them out about five times to check on them. Apparently Chuck REALLY wanted those nachos! Not as exciting as a murder or robbery…sorry :)
Mike…you are wasting too much money on these copies and mailing. You should just bring your book back over one day and let me scan the pages :)
Also, this situation is clear as mud! Bill sent me a copy of his pictures too (which I hate to say are much better than mine) and I called to thank him. While I had him on the phone I asked him who is doing the next reunion. He kept saying we’ll do it. Who the heck is we? Me and him? All of us? Hahaha…what do you think?

Around here I think more people remember it as a flea market as they do the US 25 Drive In.
THAT’S HER!!!! LOL
I’ll let her know…if she’s still speaking to me. LOL She has 2 older sisters.

Oh I hope not, this is fun!
You are sooo off task!!! LOL
I might have to hide out for a while. Cathy is mad at me and she says she is off tomorrow and WILL BE ON HERE! We’ll see…
I hear it’s somewhere outside of Georgia :)
The booth is a very scary place when film is wrapped all around everything and falling all over the place! hahaha
Hey Mike…excuse me, but by the time I left I could have even jumped in the booth!!!
Uh oh…just texted Cathy….I think I’m in TROUBLE!!! LOL
