William Cline,David, was a film booker in the Carolinas and wrote a book basically about those small theatres in North Carolina; you might be able to google in the info on the book,i have a copy somewhere and have included some of his stories on various small town theatres in the Carolinas on CT.Empire Publishers I think in North Carolina printed the book.
David, check out our ad for “JAWS” Imperial Theatre,Augusta.It was an experience no feature film could match,one would have had to work it like I did as a Usher,Doorman,Popcorn popper,Driving around Town trying to buy Ice cause our old ice maker at the Imperial couldn' keep up,cleaning up vomit etc.And at the same time our sister Theatre,National Hills opened with “BENJI” and for a good three weeks it was kicking butt,all this for $1.25 an hour or so.Had to love it!Plez add more stories!

Chaz,I loved my visit.Grabbed a few T-shirts,the movie you guys were playing was a sing along to “Mary Poppins',I couldn’t handle that but it was a great tour,thanks for all you do for the folks in Tampa.

The GCC i worked at was built before handicap laws; we had to open a back exit door to wheel them in,sure it felt degrading at times.
