Boyd theatre in Bethlehem.Pa. It was about handing out passes when only one or two people show for a movie on the last show. For the life of me I don’t ever remember a Manager or Company policy that said hand out rain checks when only one or two show up. I worked a Single screen at National Hills and the Imperial.Multi-plexes,something you know might be different in some way.
Russell, when you get a chance check out BOYD THEATRE in Philly. I got into a discussion and I would like your imput.I know how we ran things at Regency and GCC with Zack, Did I miss something after eight years in the Business?
Times change, At GCC usually when I closed on the WEEKDAYS iT was just the projectionist and Me .And i was on Salary. It was never told to me to ever do such a thing, nor did it enter my mind.Oh sure.there were times when I wished the movie goer had stayed home, but isn’t that the reason WE were There for Escape into the make believe world.Maybe the customer had a tough day at work. It just never entered my mind,Maybe Tisloews will spot this we came up at the same time.
