4DX officially opens in auditorium 11 tomorrow night, with its opening coinciding with the wide release of Joker: Folie à Deux. It has a capacity of 136, reducing the overall capacity by 79 to a new total of 4,816.
Regal is also planning to add recliners to most of the auditoriums. They’re also planning to update the lobby and hallways to match Regal’s design philosophy, similar to what they did for Regal Irvine Spectrum.
This is being converted into an Alamo Drafthouse.
It will retain its 14 auditoriums and seat 993 people.
Each auditorium will be equipped with digital 4K projection and surround sound.
It is set to open in late October of 2024, per Alamo’s careers page.
Name is Dolby Screening Room Hollywood Vine per https://professional.dolby.com/contact-us/dolby-screening-room-vine/, 70 seats and roughly 6 handicap spaces.

My capacity number for #9 was sourced from a TikTok by @thelooney2, as there are currently no movies playing in that auditorium. It’s the largest non-PLF auditorium - maybe they’re upgrading it to IMAX?
Added photos of all 12 auditoriums. In the description of each auditorium photo, I’ve noted the most centered seat. I’ve also added projector info for a few auditoriums on the stadium side.
Regal is currently upgrading one of the auditoriums to 4DX; likely auditorium 11 (9th largest auditorium here, with a seating capacity of 215 before construction) since it currently has seemingly no showtimes on Fandango.
I visited this theater last week and it’s a shame how little they care about maintaining the main auditorium. There is a prominent chromatic aberration issue with the projector, and they’re not bothering to mask the screen for films with a 1.85 aspect ratio (the sound also sucks but I feel like it’s probably hard to fix that). With that being said, theaters 2-5 seem nice, with stadium seating and 1.85 screens
One of those auditoriums was converted to an event space with a 4K laser projector and Dolby 7.1/5.1 audio; it can host 85 people in seats or 150 people standing.
The other five auditoriums were converted to color grading / sound mixing facilities in a partnership between Los Angeles sound studio 424 Post and global post-production studio Harbor.
From theasc.com:
“One stage features a 34' 8K Samsung IWA LED display ["The Wall”] and a Meyer Sound Ultra Reflex sound system with Dolby Atmos for mastering projects in 4K HDR. The space has seating for more than 50 people. A second theater, also with seating for more than 50, features a DCI-certified 4K Samsung Onyx LED display and a Meyer Sound Ultra Reflex system with Dolby Atmos. The IWA display peaks at 1,000 nits, while the Onyx display peaks at 300 nits. Both stages are supported by Sony X310 HDR reference displays.
Culver Post’s three other stages feature Christie 4K CP4420-XE projection systems and Dolby Atmos sound."
Are they no longer planning to add ScreenX?

It is indeed closed, per the AMC website. AMC has only two 4-screens in operation now, and both were hand-me-downs, just like this one.
I wonder who’s gonna scoop it up!

3 years into Regal owning it and still no premium formats!
Yes. If you have a movie ticket, you don’t have to buy food to watch it - even at Alamo.
Added photos of all 9 auditoriums. In the description of each auditorium photo, I’ve noted the most centered seat.
Yes, they still mask, at least in some auditoriums. Unfortunately, it’s a lot harder for me to verify which auditoriums mask and which don’t.
