after being let go by regal i worked at the ritz for 5 days, i was hired as a projectionist and was stuck behind the candy stand becuse managers there didnt like this guy coming in so they tried to break me down and it worked but i was very put off by this place, while i like seeing films there the employees and managers had a very looking there nose down on you way which never gelled with my past with amc and regal
i was a manager at the moorestown theater when the mart theater closed, i was sent over with another manager to salvage equipment but it seems a manager who had just been let go and his friends had torn the place to pieces they threw a trash can through screen bashed in doors and destroyed projection equipment which is sad
on a plus side i left with bags of old trailers and posters which had been stashed over the years
well regal tends to go lower brow when it comes to there films, moorestown now is all kids films and loud action or comedies not a whole bunch of art in my 6 years there, you go to the ritz for substance
by far the best theater in the area, nice comfortable seats unlike hard plastic backers you would get at regal, a balcony great digital sound, they run 2nd run prints but its still a great shot if only for the experiance of seeing a film in one of the last great movie palaces on the coast
october 26th at 11:30 pm the broadway will run FRIDAY THE 13TH and again at 8:30 on october 28th with classic drive in preshows and vintage horror trailers. theres gonna be trivia and prizes and other specials for more info hit me up at
ted and his wife have been nothing but supportive this summer the theater is amazing fully restored to its early glory and is one of the most enjoyable spots to see a movie down the shore
i was a manager at this theater for 6 years after regal took over in 2002 they went about making many repairs but the building suffers from a serious mouse problem and the roof has about as many holes as a piece of swiss cheese
worked as a manager at the broadway for 4 months and the building is amazing fully restored to its former glory now if they would just gear projects more towards revival films and less live theater
