Not only was this Eberson’s first atmospheric theater, it was THE first atmospheric theater in the world.
Does anyone know who/what “Holblitzelle” is/was? I found a reference to “Holblitzelle’s Majestic Theatre in Houston” but that is the only information that I have.

In 1927, the J.C. Deagon Company installed a 20 tone bell at this theater. Of the 425 or so worldwide installations, only 2 were at theaters: this one & a 10 tone bell at the Mayfair in Asbury Park, NJ. Pretty impressive company!
Both bells were demolished with their respective theaters

Pink Floyd performed here on 11/2 & 11/3/71. With this theater and the Capitol, Passaic must have been quite the concert scene in the 1970s.
