It must have closed a few years later cause it is not in the 1956 Motion Picture Almamac listing Drive-ins.

I remember playing “WAIT UNTIL DARK” for a week as a filler back in the late seventies,the trailer seemed as scary as the film.

70mm at that on “Octopussy” never think of the Bond films in 70mm.
The two Drive-in in the Late 50’s were; W.74 Drive-in and S.52 Drive-in both parked 200 cars.
We never had any problems with “THE WARRIORS”.Must have been a BIG city thing.Good Story Nick.
