I think this theater closed 1984 one of the best theaters on long island .GOLD seats and curtain this wasa gem. I was only here once on the last day it looked as if the theater was just opening not closeing.This location is now a blockbuster

YES WARREN/ This theater had holes in the floor to the basement every other row/They had some kind of fan sytem blow the scent to the auditorium.I think this was in the 50s/ The manager NICk G was manager here for 40 years he was the only one ever to mention this smellarama .

All the theaters are gone as movie theaters but the SHORE stillgoing strong , THis was the only property they owned in Huntington .A SIDE NOTE = CENTURY ASLO OWNED CENTURY LANES Huntingtons bowling alley at the same time.

The strong point of CENTURY in suffolk county had to be HUNTINGTON THE SHORE ,YORK , WHITMAN, 110 DRIVE IN . THE ALSO HAD THE HUNTINGTON THEATER AND ONE IN HUNTINGTON STATION. So at any given time they had at least 4 theaters going.
